It is expected that in the future, the facility may house programs from various institutions within the NSHE in the health sciences and allied health disciplines.

In order to preserve spaces of the already over crowded parking, the site allotted is a very narrow footprint that encroaches on the limited green space of the campus. The thin nature of the building provided the opportunity to designate offices around the perimeter of the building and place the lobby space to allow it to activate the quad area and reduce the amount of intrusion onto the existing green space.
