Description:

In order to blend with the scale of the predominately residential neighborhood, the building was designed to appear as two separate volumes. The two separate volumes are brought together by the circulation element (stair wrapping the elevator core).

Natural materials of stone, copper and wood were used for their  rich patina and ease of care as they weather naturally over time.  The copper wrap embraces the main facade providing opportunities for natural daylight and sheltered, outdoor use.
