Description:
The wood ceiling is carried into the lobby/reception area and triage to create a sense of unified spaces inside and out. 

Due to the programmatic requirements of this medical office building, there are limited daylighting opportunities. We wanted to provide natural daylight where possible. The sloping roof form created the opportunity to allow natural daylight into certain spaces. Clerestory windows provide natural daylight in the triage, waiting and reception areas.

The medical facility includes offices, triage, exam rooms, long and short term records storage, ultra-sound rooms, lab and testing and a conference room. There is also a break away area for the doctors to be able to work out or relax when working long shifts.
